Helping distribution by giving 90%+ to those doing nothing and leaving next to nothing to the content creators. I had a go with bots about a year ago. It wasn't too bad when there were at least some people with SP to actually upvote content that had a little exposure. These days bots will just get a handful of $0.01 upvotes. Most people are also aware that upvoting bot bought content reaps very low curation rewards. I make it a point to look for content not promoted by bots.
If you really care about promoting content work with someone developing a frontend that has promotion built in. I wouldn't mind paying a frontend $5 a post for some real exposure.
