Adventures in Shed Building (as well as prepping) Part One

in #ocdb5 days ago

So in these days between Christmas and New Year, Ben and I have cracked on with getting the area ready for where our new shed will go!

We decided that the best place is going to be behind the garage, only thing is - as you can see - the flat surface doesn't extend the full width of the back, so first thing we had to do is clear the area we need to put concrete on - and trust me, it took a fair bit of work!

Those of you out there that have ever had to remove fern roots will know exactly what I'm talking about...

Once cleared, it was far easier to see where to bolster the end, especially in the space where there is no paving stone. We cracked on as the daylight was fading fast (Winter in the UK is rather bleak) and after a fair bit of tidying, we were ready for Part Two...

Join us for the next instalment of #homesteading with Planetauto! In all seriousness though, we will always make do ourselves if we can, and Ben's a dab hand of making projects like these work.

Coming up we will show you how we got on with the cement mix...

Thank you all, and enjoy!
