Well, nobody has to do it but it sure gives you comfort with winter coming and the snow falling (it is now). We lose power out here a lot. I know I will not have to suffer.
@thediyworld How many generators did you bring from Pine Bush? The only way you’re going to survive any prolonged power outage is with a generator and plenty of on grid gasoline. Better get those junk batteries installed in the garage soon!
The batteries are good. I have two generators stuck in the back corner of the garage. Not going to be needed due to having solar panels and battery backup.
