We are thrilled to share some amazing news! Yesterday, Thursday, June 27, 2024, OffChain Luxembourg achieved a historic milestone by exporting services for the first time using our very own currency, OCLT!
The story began when @yellowticruz, a non-member of OffChain Luxembourg, shared a LinkedIn post in our general WhatsApp group with the message : "For each repost, youโll get one OCLT from me ๐." Our founder, @sorin.offchain , did Thibaut the favor by reposting his LinkedIn postโa task too insignificant to warrant a payment in euros.
However, in a gesture of appreciation, @yellowticruz bought OCLT to reward @sorin.offchain for republishing his article. This transaction marked the first instance of OffChain Luxembourg exporting services using OCLT, demonstrating the practical utility and value of our community currency.
We would also like to extend our thanks to the OffChain Luxembourg member @sorin.offchain who republished @yellowticruz's article, further fostering our collaborative community spirit.
