In the last week, some work was done on road maintenance, a new project was started, and supply trip was made.
Also, I (Naan) was interviewed by Clix Money, who is a content creator on several different platforms. The interview was wide ranging and only briefly touched on Allodium, but the link to the interview is here:
A small fraction of the 1" stone pile ordered recently was utilized repairing local roads.
It's mud season here, so some potholes were filled with stone. As the mud and stone combine, they form hard-pack and fortify the roads for future use.
A new project was started- beginning to renovate the Gatetower so that it can be turned into a rental unit this year.
The first step of this project is to dig a good bit of dirt out of the middle of the tower and then rock/mortar over the floor and earth berms.
Currently, the work is just digging out and removing the dirt, one 5-gallon bucket at a time. Once a bit more progress is made, pics/video will be shared.
The chicken coop didn't get any further along this week, despite the fact that 3 chickens have been killed by predators in the last few weeks- demonstrating the need to transfer the chickens into the new (and more secure) area.
The weather has been chilly, and as of writing this, there is a fresh 4" of snow on the ground; so work has been delayed.
However, another supply trip was made and there are now enough supplies for several different projects.
A new chainsaw was purchased as well!
I've managed to get by without one (working) for all these years, but it is great to have that capability now!
In Block #236, ending 4/18/2022, a total of 2418@ (Appreciation Tokens) were generated; 378@ were generated by the daily appreciation of 54 members, 150@ were generated by 15 hours of labor exhausted for the Cooperative, and 1890@ were generated by 189 OG Creds (Ø); bringing the total to 388,867@.
There are currently 54 members of Allodium, 11 of whom have Affirmed their Sovereignty, and 6 of those whom have at least 1 OG Cred; along with 2 Dangling Branches. The updated Member Tree can be viewed here:
