I read this article on my LinkedIn page by a Ben Ramedani.
What he said in this article is so true that I thought my Steemit family should also get to read this.
And to say the least, his article more or less is a fact that can not be over emphasized.
The article reads thus:
"I am not the type of boss who believes in putting your life on the line for a job.
I have seen many posts on how people treat their workers. I read a lot about some hiring manager and recruiters. What they do to job seekers.
I always tell people who work for me to look after themselves first because work continues.
If you die trying to satisfy me or the work, I will only mourn you for sixty seconds and place an ad for a vacant post. Yes, I am an Asshole, so be it.
But here's my advice to you, work well but your health first. Look after yourself, then other things will take care of itself.
I know work may be hard to get and losing it makes it harder, having a deteriorated health will make it the hardest.
Hey, I am talking to you. If you don' get it, read the following a bit loud:
No one will employ a sick person.
Everyone will lay off a sick person as well.
That’s the fact.
And No, they are not Asshole
Look after yourself, care for yourself and love yourself louder."
Thank you
