I did manipulate it with Photoshop, since I was just commenting with @dmcamera about using Photoshop.
I do know the name and will remember it when I hear it. They are easy to transplant when they spread. We have quite a few of them, in different colors.
Can anyone supply the name?
(Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most)

Azalea?
Now that is a name I can remember and we also have a few of them. Not this flower though.
We brought one with us when we moved from Connecticut and it is doing well even in this colder New Hampshire climate.
Dont know the name but it is very pretty.
It is a very pretty and delicate looking flower.
This particular one is at the top of the driveway and gets a lot of snow (like more than a foot during some storms) plowed on top of it and yet it comes back bigger and stronger every year.
No fragrance though.
Sorry I don't know the name. It is a really pretty flower though. I've never seen one like it.
I will probably remember the name in the middle of the night...Both my husband and I know the name but he can't think of it either even though he uses the unmanipulated photo on his desktop.
The name will come to you when you are not thinking about. Usually when you have nothing to take a note with!
It looks a lot like a columbine but is seems like an unusual color if that is the case.
Thanks but I don't think so. I have columbine and the plant is different.
This blossoms in the early summer.
I thought the name would come to me during the night but it didn't...
You sound like me now LOL! I surely can't help you on this one but they are beautiful!
It is fun and comforting to have someone share the memory loss thing.
HaHa! I call that my senior moment!
Aquila/ Columbine
Oh yes. Thanks. That is the name I was looking for.
So it is also called columbine?
I have another plant that I call columbine that is quite different.
Well I always used to call my kids by the wrong name too...but they knew who I was talking to so I ended up calling them each JasRyNoah.
It's so delicate but beautiful with all its little chamber like petals.
Lovely!
Very nice photo bchick! I don't what type of flower but it is beautiful. Thanks for sharing it with us.🐓
You are so welcome. You can see from the posts that @melinda010100 identified the name.
It is a beautiful flower.
I'll send you some when I thin it next time. The chickens do not seem interested in it but do some weeding around it!
