First of all ı want to say that ı am so happy cause ı was the first for last post. So ı want to share a story for this plant.
It is a bitch oleander that has been mentioned in legends and religious books in every period of history. Well, what makes this plant so important is what makes it popular every time? In other words, if oleander was grown not in the Mediterranean basin but in another geography, was it so well known and known?
The fact that the first civilizations were established around the Mediterranean, the emergence of single and very godly religions in this geography, olive and zekeum also made an important plant.
On the other side of the garden there is an oleander (like oleander). I can not get to know this plant better.
Oleander (Nerium oleander), a member of the Apocynaceae family, is a drought-tolerant tree that does not plow its leaves in the summer and winter, and is also called the extinction of the people.
This plant, which naturally grows in places where the Mediterranean climate is seen, attracts attention with beautiful flowers that are opened in summer. Due to its dependence on drought, inability to care, and the opening of beautiful flowers in different colors, Oregan has made parks and gardens one of the most planted flowers in the road.
Whereas Zakkumun emerges as an antagonist everywhere; the reason that the seeds are fuzzy and that they can be carried easily by the wind everywhere.
One characteristic of Zakkumun is that it is very poisonous with everything.
If Oleander is really popular; the social and cultural scene comes from its role. While some societies deified Zedong as sacred, according to Islamic, they were regarded as 'hell'. Today, it has even been suggested that cancer may be a drug. Since ancient times, oleander has always been on the agenda.
If you see Greek mythology; A young man named Leonder sailed into the sea every night and met with the love of the opposite side. The storm came on suddenly for a night and this time Leonder's lifeless body is sandwiched in sand. After that day, this flower begins to decorate the sea shores. It is said that oleander, the Latin name for oleander, comes from this genus.
Most oleander planted in Europe, especially in the period of the Romans, as ornamental plants in gardens. On the titles of the tobacco, oleander flower motifs were used on the tables.
In India, the oleander called 'kaner' is sacred and represents the god Shiva. One of the three trees that are considered holy by the Jews is oleander.
- An international festival is being held every year in Galveston, Texas for the most popular oleander in America.
- It is told that the oleander tree is sacred by the Jews, and the Quran is a hell tree.
The reasons why these two communities share the same geography and think so differently about this plant are due to history. Well, how long will this hatred and enmity last up to religious books?
Now this problem must be solved in one way and there must be peace between the two societies. Yakkum must also be considered as a symbol of this peace and friendship.
