For the “One shot: all in a photo” column today we bring you back to one of the magical places of our Ferrara. We are in the Rotonda Foschini of the Teatro Comunale in Ferrara where a beautiful lighting gives this part of the theater a truly special atmosphere ... so much so that it is almost impossible not to take some pictures, even if we have already done so many times! 😊
The Rotonda Foschini is an integral part of the architecture of the Municipal Theater of Ferrara and, as can be seen from today's photo, represents a small internal oval courtyard that was designed for the transit of carriages from Corso Martiri della Libertà to Corso della Giovecca. For many years the rotunda, which is dedicated to the engineer Antonio Foschini who owns the Morelli building, has no longer been open to traffic and is used only as a pedestrian area where cultural events or conferences of all kinds are also held. It can be accessed through two underpasses open on the two roads in fact, one of these is the one you can see in the photo above which leads to Corso Martiri della Libertà right in front of the Estense Castle.
