The Butterfly Effect- Telling People About DTube and Steemit | DTube Exclusive

in #onelovedtube7 years ago

I talk a bit about the Butterfly Effect in this video. And no I don't mean the movie with Ashton Kusher, although that movie was very good! I'm talking about how one small action like getting a single other person on DTube can have a very big impact over time.

Hi everyone and welcome to my DTube channel! I am a 20 year old cyclist, traveler, runner, vegan and adventure seeker from Cape Town, South Africa. If you are reading this it means you are meeting me at an exciting year in my life, which will be filled with bicycle touring and lots of traveling.

There is a quote which says "Life is either a daring adventure, or it's nothing at all." That is how I can best describes 2018 and if I can help it (which I know I can) the years to come.

In July I will fly to Paris to travel Europe and watch the Tour de France. I know that a lot of my followers on DTube and Steemit are from Europe, so it would be great to meet some of you while I am there! I am already in contact with a few people and I can't wait to see you guys there. You can check out the video: here if you want more details on the DTube Paris meetup I am planning. Thanks again everyone!

You said some interesting and true things but i think the Dtube and SteemIt are not yet ready for massive adoption or maybe i could tell that people are not ready to adoption it. It is still pretty complicated to use, there are still many issues on this sites. The long period of waiting to make an account for example, or problems that dtube and dlive have with uploads and playing the videos. Average user would register and then forget after 3-4 days about steemit because his account is not approved for 2 weeks, or he would try to upload a video and after 2-3 errors he would just quit. (few months ago i uploaded a video on dtube 4 times to get an error, yesterday i uploaded 2 videos on Dlive to just see they are not playing and my up speed is 0.6Mb/s) so imagine an average user uploading a 400mb video for 7 hours, he would say f it i am going on youtube.
