Hollola didn't have any visible birds, not even seen from the viewing tower, so I ended up only listening to their singing.
Here's a smartphone photo from inside the tower:

@gamer00,
It seems like you had a nice exercise by climbing up there! What kind of tower is this? A type of Bird watching tower or something else? Nice photography Jaro!
Cheers~
Hello @gamer00,
The tower you were using, what was it specifically made for?
It's a viewing tower for touristic purposes, I think. It's on a hill the slopes of which are particularly steep. It was built in the early 20th century. During WW II, it was used for observing enemy aircraft. In archaeological digs, the remains of a prehistoric wooden fortress were found on top of the hill.
Interesting. I was just curious about it, because the tower seem close to a forest from the photo and I thought photo was for a different reason other than tourism.
That's a bird watching tower? I have never seen one before. That interesting. Is it up in Oregon or where?
Finland. Not a bird watching tower. A viewing tower for tourists.
Without reading the explanation, I saw the photos first. And the first thing you notice is that it's an up shot looking down. Right or am I wrong?
This is a wild life watch tower?!
It looks quite high up and gives good view!
But this is a bit spooky at night!!
Your photo makes me feel dizzy looking down those steps!
Sounds like a peaceful time listening to the birds. I’ve loved following along with your photo a day series. Keep it up!
hmm better luck next time well all n all beautiful photographs :)
It's quite high. Ready to shoot some ducks from there? :D
Hey, there is even a graffiti. How high is this tower?))
I can feel the air of spring from those photos :O
hmm this was the tower on the castle hill if I remember well right? well all made of wood that is amazing but really suck the vandalism, I was about to ask you if it was illegal to take pictures from inside places without the consent of the owners in Finland, because I had not seen you take pictures of places from inside, I guess it depends on the site is public or private.
Looks so cozy! And the view is not to be missed it seems.. too bad there were no birdies to pose today..
This tower for which purpose dear ? I think its for watching all around .
And you would be right.
