Part 1: Why Move Up Leagues?
The main reason you want to move up leagues is for the increased rewards. Your rewards increase in three different ways each time you move up a league.
- More end of reason reward chests
- Additional daily quest reward chests
- Increased DEC rewards per battle you win
You move up to higher leagues by maintaining your collection power and rating higher than the minimum for your desired league. If your collection power or rating drops below the minimum, you'll fall back into a lower league.
Part 2: Understanding Collection Power
Collection power is basically just a measure of the DEC burn value of the cards that you own or are paying to rent. If you put a card for sale, put a card for rent, or let a rental expire, that card will no longer count toward your collection power.
You can find a card's collection power by going to the card page and looking at the DEC column of the card. Each release has a different collection power number and each rarity of card has a different collection power number.
One way to boost up your collection power is to look at buying or renting some gold cards. Golds have a much higher collection power number than common cards, which is why they can be so much more expensive!
Part 3: Understanding Rating
You can only increase your rating by winning matches. If you play someone with a rating much higher than yours you will gain a lot of rating points if you win and not lose that much if you lose. On the flip side, if you play someone with a rating much lower than yours you will only gain a small amount of rating if you win, but lose a ton of rating if you lose.
