The huge thing that stands out (I still need to review the ad section) is the decentralized control of the money supply. Go to chapter 4 of the white paper and search for OAA.
Some cryptocoins set a fixed amount of coin that will be created and don’t change it. Other cryptocoins create more coins as programmed by a developer.
The ONOT gives the owner the right to vote with the ONO community to create more currency to circulate among content creators, invest the created currency, or destroy the currency if they want to increase the value of the coin.
I have never seen any decentralized governance like this. Kě Xú (徐可, CEO of ONO) calls it the great experiment because it relies on the wisdom of the ONO community to be successful.
