If you work on your presentation, make "official" recording of your songs and "release" your songs on SteemIt, i'm certain eventually it will make thousands of dollars! You have a very special kind of quality content.
One tip though, don't do it right away, but wait until you have enough of a following. Posts will only get rewards the first 7 days and this platform is all about followers to make your content go viral. So work on followers first and then you're in business. I see a bright future for you on SteemIt, good luck! :)

And good advice. I don't have the equipment to do proper quality yet, or even friends who do.. so for now it's just like this anyway. But you're right that I don't need to worry about that until I've made a lot of friends and fans on here first anyway. I'm happy to share what I've got in the meantime. I love it here.

The main tip i can give right now is to come up with a plan to gain more followers and how you want to present your original songs on SteemIt when you're finally satisfied with how much money your content makes.
The best way for beginners is to connect with others on Steemit that have similar interest or content you're interested in. So right now it's probably best to look for other artists and make new friends :)

Yeah feel free to ask me anything. I know almost everything about this platform since i'm also a programmer. You'll probably learn a lot from reading my articles too. I write beginner guides from time to time.
