what the?? you trying to make up for lost time there coinsandchains? hey this is my last hurrah for this competition, I just don't have the time, I'm not keeping up with the people I'm trying to follow, I hate to give it up because I need the build for my wallet but maybe longterm it's better this way.
I mean maybe I'll do 5 or 10 a week to try to get a couple steem but not much more than that.
No, I doubt I will ever catch up to the comment machine. I have actually met a few new people doing the curie trail and have continued conversations with them. LOL, one actually took my comment and turned it into a post.
You actually do a lot of good around here with your prolific commenting. Making people feel welcome is something that southerners usually do well. I've been thinking basically the same thing, this stuff takes an enormous effort, that I really don't have the time for. (Plus I tend to be too competitive)
I started thinking about it, I'm doing this for around $10 to $15 a week, I must have lost my mind..... I do enjoy it, but still that's nuts to me.
it's totally insane man! have you lost your marbles? lol.
Mrs. J and I were talking about that just today.. how much smarter it would be to get a part time job and buy steem each week with what you make, then when the price goes up you'll have a huge amount of dollars worth in the account.
probably a good retirement in there that you could keep building.
and I think steem with make it don't you?
I've been thinking about ramping my Ebay back up. I've bought a few overstock pallets and done decent on those with ebay, but it's still a lot of work with a slow payback. I can spend 500 and get 5-6 thousand in merchandise but ebay ends up with about 1000-1500 of that for shipping and seller fees.
I do think steem is going to go up a good bit, the SMT's will probably help. I'm waiting on one of the apps to really take off, but none of them are really ready for "prime-time." I think one of their biggest issues is they are all just trying to be a front-end for steem and the blockchain structure is limited in the amount and type data it can store.(SMT's might help that.)
I seriously think an app will take off, if it will use steem for the base and add either another blockchain or database to store user stats and habits so you can build feeds based on algorithms and have a true direct messaging capability, and a few more features that steem just can't do. It really needs a community feature as well, as it is everyone has to use discord to really build a community. If you look at the "mainstream" social media apps, they all have features built in to create communities and direct messaging.
lol, I tried something new out last week. I turned this thing in on Wednesday, and they are just now publishing it. https://steemit.com/curation/@thedailysneak/the-daily-sneak-15-september-2018-with-guest-curator-coinsandchains
