Thank you @luzcypher for hosting the steemit openmic; and to all the organizers. That must be a heckofa job watching all those movies--not to mention filtering out all the garbage cheaters, etc. ugh. That takes some mondo patience. So, really, we appreciate it.

Thanks man. It is a lot of work and we have a great team.
The @steembirds wrote a little song about it and it goes like this.
BAHHAHAHA!!!!! "Stayy up really late watching videos where youuuu SUCK!!" hahah. Tis true!! I probably would lose my mind (what's left to lose, anyway, that is ;)) On that "note," I am curious: I know ya'll go over how the judging is done; but, so are the judges just the folks who happen to have started the project and just stick with it, or is there a procedure to making judges and how does that work? Sorry if this is explained elsewhere--please direct me to appropriate page :) . And thanks again, to the real "heroes of steemit open mic": the Judges!!!
I started Open Mic back in October 2016 and @pfunk started funding it from week 2.
The rest of the judges were people who entered and I hand selected them to help as they were already getting very involved in the Open Mic community. I started adding judges in week 37 I believe and added a few more later on.
