Greetings dear readers, listeners and fellow musicians! It's a pleasure for me to be back in the Steemit's musical field.
I'm back once again to the Steemit Open Mic by @luzcypher and I can't do anything more than feel totally happy because THIS DEAR FAMILY has more than 100 weeks being the best musical contest in the platform! the support shown by all the people on the platform are what keeps this validity, we continue to support @pfunk as Witness to keep this incredible family bringing and supporting good musical talent to the platform.
Como sabrán estuve ausente casi un mes porque ahora estoy ayudando a otros steemians a transitar el mismo camino musical que yo, por esa razón junto a varios amigos productores fundamos el proyecto @guacamedia.
Hasta ahora todo ha salido bien, pues le hemos brindado la oportunidad de producción a artistas que han ganado el OpenMic con nuestro apoyo como @kimugas23 y @jotadiaz14. Además Kim recibió un voto de @curie hace unos días, todo va excelente.
Gracias al Open Mic seguimos creciendo, ya le pudimos crear la cuenta a otro gran músico como @kikepinedo y así seguiremos hasta ser un virus indetenible de contenido musical de calidad.
As you know, I was absent for almost a month because now I'm helping other steemians to travel the same musical path as me, for that reason together with several producer friends we founded the @guacamedia project.
So far everything has gone well because we have given the production opportunity to artists who have won the OpenMic with our support as @kimugas23 and @jotadiaz14. Kim also received a vote from @curie a few days ago, everything is excellent right now.
Thanks to the Open Mic we continue to grow, we could create the account to another great musician like @kikepinedo and we will continue to be an unstoppable quality music content virus.
Una semana temática en el concurso Sing IT / A special week in the Sing It Contest
Como sabrán yo soy el jurado y co-creador del Concurso Sing It creado junto a @betamusic, un concurso hecho para los cantantes que quieren demostrar sus buenos dotes vocales dentro de la plataforma. Ya tenemos 8 semanas en actividad y hemos dado pie a que muchos autores sean recompensados por @curie y ofrecemos una excelente recompensa de un pool total de 15 STEEMS.
Esta semana tenemos una temática especial en homenaje a Aretha Franklin motivado a su fallecimiento el 16 de Agosto de 2018. Al ser la reina del soul decidimos hacer una semana de R&B, Soul y Blues, es decir, las participaciones solo pueden ser de esos géneros musicales, sean originales o no, y así nació mi tema.
As you know I'm the judge and co-creator of the Sing It Contest created together with @betamusic, a contest made for singers who want to demonstrate their good vocal skills within the platform. We already have 8 weeks in activity and we've given rise to many authors being rewarded by @curie and we offer an excellent reward of a total pool of 15 STEEMS.
This week we have a special theme in tribute to Aretha Franklin motivated to her death on August 16, 2018. Being the queen of soul we decided to make a week of R&B, Soul and Blues, so we're going to accept participations made exclusively with those music genres.
Mi primer blues compuesto / My first composed blues
Este tema original se titula Entra, es un tema que habla de ese momento mágico en el que vas a intimar con la persona que te encanta y te complementa en todo sentido. Es una oda a la magnificencia de llegar al clímax, es un tema cargado de mucha potencia vocal como todo buen blues y de verdad fue un total experimento para mi pues nunca había compuesto un blues en mi vida pero la musa llegó, así que play.
This original song is titled Entra (Come In), it's a theme that speaks of that magical moment in which you're going to intimate with the person you love and complements you in every way. It's an ode to the magnificence of reaching the climax, it's a song loaded with a lot of vocal power like all good blues and it was really a total experiment for me because I had never composed a blues in my life but the muse arrived, so just play and STEEM ON!.
¿Cómo hice este performance? / How did I make this performance?
Como en todos mis post sobre el Steemit Open Mic intento explicar un poco cómo hice mi performance desde las grabaciones de las voces, instrumentos, hasta la mezcla del vídeo para que las personas puedan hacer el mismo trabajo que yo hago (o un trabajo mejor).
Comencemos:
Like every post that I made about the Steemit Open Mic I try to explain a bit how I did my performance from the recordings of the voices, instruments, to the video mix so that the people can do the same work that I do (or a better job).
Let's start then:
Grabación y Ecualización de los Instrumentos / Instruments Recording & Equalization
En primer lugar, comencé buscando la batería, ya que las librerías que tengo actualmente en mi laptop en el programa FL Studio 12 están muy obsoletas y no tengo suficiente memoria RAM como para usar muchos plugins decidí buscar una batería por Youtube para que fuera la base rítmica de mi tema. De esa manera encontré la pista que se encuentra acá ---> Batería de blues 60 BPM y procedí a ecualizarla y aplicarle reverberación en el programa FL Studio 12.
Para la grabación de los instrumentos utilicé el programa llamado Cubase 5, simplemente los grabé y procedí a exportarlos uno por uno para luego ecualizarlos, aplicarles el debido reverb y demás en FL Studio.
Una vez en FL Studio 12 procedí a realizar la mezcla de cada instrumento, les apliqué una ecualización con un plugin llamado Fruity Parametric EQ 2. Para la reverberación utilicé un plugin llamado Fruity Reverb 2, a continuación dejo las especificaciones de cada plugin en los instrumentos:

First of all, I started looking for the drum, since the libraries that I currently have on my laptop in the FL Studio 12 program are very obsolete and I don't have enough RAM to use many plugins I decided to look for a drum in Youtube so that it would be the rhythmic base of my song. I found the track that is here ---> Blues Drum 60 BPM and I proceeded to equalize it and apply reverberation in FL Studio.
For the instrument's recording I used the program called Cubase 5 from the Steinberg company, I just recorded them and proceeded to export one by one to then, in FL Studio equalize and apply the proper reverb for it.
Once in FL Studio 12 I proceeded to perform the mixing of each instrument, I applied an equalization with a plugin called Fruity Parametric EQ 2. For the reverb I used a plugin called Fruity Reverb 2, I leave the specifications of each plugin in the instruments:

En este caso utilicé mi guitarra eléctrica y le bajé 2 octavas utilizando el Corrector de tonalidad de Cubase 5, luego de eso procedí a ecualizarlo y quitarle los brillos (pelotas 6 y 7) para eliminar los agudos.
In this case I used my electric guitar and I lowered it 2 octaves using the Pitch Correct from Cubase 5, after that I proceeded to equalize it and remove the brightness (balls 6 and 7) to eliminate the highs.

Grabación de las voces / Voice recording
Para la grabación de las voces utilicé el programa de grabación de la empresa Steinberg llamado Cubase 5. Luego de haber grabado, mezclado y masterizado los instrumentos exporté la pista en formato .wav para que no perdiera calidad de audio, y prodecí a grabar las voces.
For the recording of the voices I used the recording program of the company Steinberg called Cubase 5. After having recorded, mixed and mastered the instruments I exported the track in .wav format so that I didn't lose audio quality, and I started recording the voices.
Como siempre utilicé un formato de paneo de la siguiente forma:
Voz principal: 2 canales paneados al centro.
Apoyos: 6 canales paneados uno a la izquierda y uno a la derecha para lograr un efecto en Stereo.
Para el delay y el reverb utilicé dos plugins llamados H-Delay Mono/Stereo y RVerb Mono/Stereo respectivamente, ambos de la gama de los WAVES. Les muestro la configuración a continuación:
Los WAVES son plugins especiales que ayudan al momento de realizar las producciones musicales.
As always I used a panning format in the following way:
Main voice: 2 channels panned to the center.
Support voices: 6 channels panned one on the left and one on the right to achieve a Stereo effect.
For the delay and the reverb I used two plugins called H-Delay Mono/Stereo and RVerb Mono/Stereo respectively , both from the WAVES. I show you the configuration below:

Grabación y Mezcla de los vídeos / Video Recording & Mixing
Para la grabación de los vídeos utilicé mi teléfono inteligente marca Blu HD R2 con la cámara frontal. Para la mezcla de los vídeos utilicé el programa de la empresa TechSmith llamado Camtasia Studio 8.
Fue algo más o menos difícil esta vez ya que por alguna razón el programa no soportaba vídeos en formato .mp4 por lo que tuve que tranasformarlos en vídeos en formato .avi para que pudiera soportarlos y así poder utilizar el programa.

For the video recording I used my Blu HD R2 smartphone with the front camera. For the mixing of the videos I used the program of the company TechSmith called Camtasia Studio 8.
It was something more or less difficult this time because for some reason the program did not support videos in .mp4 format so I had to transform them into videos in .avi format so that it could support them and thus be able to make the edition and mixing.

Hey @ilazramusic, that was a little discovery for me to find such a beautiful voice and wonderful passion full song. I like the way how you explained your creation without that simple people think that it is just easy sit down with guitar and sing. But there are a lot of work adn efford behind, nowadays once you understand how many programs for music comosing work it makes the life easy for such talented people like you.

I love these mashup mixes like this, I wish I had the equipment to get that kind of stuff done. Plus you turned this into one heck of a post with all of the equipment and mixing information. I appreciate all of the english translation, my spanish is slow, so that would have taken forever for me to read through.
