Greetings!
This romantic tune originated from the french singer Edith Piaf in 1945. It soon captivate the US and was covered by legends like Bing Crosby and Louis Armstrong. I first heard this song watching one of my favorite shows, How I Met Your Mother and fell in love with the song.
Lyrics:
Hold me close and hold me fast
This magic spell you cast
This is la vie en rose
When you kiss me heaven sighs
And though I close my eyes
I see la vie en rose
When you press me to your heart
I'm in a world apart
A world where roses bloom
And when you speak
Angels sing from above
Everyday words seems
To turn into love songs
Give your heart and soul to me
And life will always be la vie en rose

One of my all time favorites! Although the Louie Armstrong is my definite favorite version, the ukulele is so sweet sounding!
