The song sounds amazing. Your play style is so intriguing. That thumb is really working some extra bass into the song and I love how the reverb gives the song that dreamy vibe.

Wow thanks heaps @soulturtle!! I do like trying experimental ways to play & with an open D & a capo you can get some dreamy sounds. The lounge room at our place is basically a studio space with loads of instruments!!
I love your song so much, and how you play it with such heart. I love the lyrics .. and I relate to that feeling when you go back to your hometown of being out of place, just being different. It's like you move on and grow and explore new things, but the town stays the same. It's both awkward and comforting at the same time.
