I don't see it that way. I've been involved in this contest since the start and even won a prize at least once. Luzcypher puts in a lot of work and he's had to deal with people trying to cheat as it's grown. It's an opportunity for people to create content that can get seen by a large audience. In places like Venezuela a few dollars goes a long way. For others it may just buy a coffee. People can still manipulate the votes if they have enough supporters, but I don't think the organisers can do much about that. For most of us it's a bit of fun and an incentive to keep on making music.
