The weeks fly by! I can see how this could turn into a full time job.
This week's original song is a sleeper I wrote back in 2008.
This song is about the insecurities of a new dating relationship within the realm of perceived social optics.

"TIN MAN'S HEART"
You only get back what you give
Take back what you did
I didn't mean to run over your long lost friend
Do you mean to shy away from me just to exchange some pleasantries?
Am I an anchor in this town until you find a way to cut your chains and...
Run from me Like the autumn leaves that tease the ground
Shake my tree until you gather all the fruit
Why can't I feel safe beside you ridiculous as it may seem?
Or are you looking for a convert? Or just a particular scene?
I know there's something wrong with me
When I check my voicemail constantly
And every hour that drags on by
Just keeps me from making up my mind!
Watching! Waiting! Contemplating!
Signs from Above
Is this all a Grand Illusion like the
Tin Man's Heart?
Sounds really good man. Love your studio. Nice.
Thank you, I did make a minor boo boo and ended up mixing on sound reducing (drummer's) headphones in a hurry making the overall volume lower than normal but if you amplify it/headphones, it should reflect the quality of those microphones.
Nice composition and performance, @tonypapa! Cool, man!
Passion-Ground! Thanks my man! Needed to pump those jazz chords!
really nice setting, got some great toys back there looks like, love the playing solid and great voice and performance.
Thanks for taking the time to it check it out - that old Neumann (borrowed) on the vocals was mindblowing to work with and I tried the figure 8 cardiod patterns on both mics for 2 separate tracks w minimum bleed. Can't wait to try some more with it - trying to get a cover of Led Zep's "Hat's Off To Roy Harper" worked up lately - it's hard.
