Oh hell.... I love this so much! Up-voting this post for sure. This song is very beautifully played. The lyrics are enchanting. This is a style of music that I love listening to. Original, but still feel like it has a 90's influence something like.... the pixies... the shins... and so many other influences but still being so original. This is truely a new favorite of mine. I shall listen to it over and over again!!!
Thanks again @sallyswitchblade i replied to your comment elsewhere but forgot to mention my influences. There are indeed 90s and early 2000's tones and melodies present. I've always been a huge Paul Dempsey (Something for Kate) fan but also heavily influenced by 90's grunge band like Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden. I also listened tip tons of Violent Femmes in my youth and they will always have a special place in my heart.
Hi @trevorpetrie, depression is indeed a very dark part of the human brain. Your intro reminds me of eagle eye cherry. I like your composition and lyrics, very soothing and the guitar is smooth and consistent.
Hi @soonmusic thanks for watching! It sure made for a number of destructive years, thankfully I've learned to forgive my past and gained strength i would never have previously imagined. Thanks for the kind words!
