This song hurts the soul as it does awaken it to the real pain the world is feeling and many just don't seem to care or are to exhausted by their own griefs and problems that they lack the passion, concern and care to open their blatantly turned blind eyes to the situations of tragedy before them or they purposely stand far from any heat sources to keep their cold shoulders as frigid as possible. Just as @luzcypher has stated, this is one that touches home and unfortunately we have experience with the coldness of people who are numb and insensitive to others' suffering. Thanks for this well written song, your pain translates well in the melodies.

too much in the world. It's problematic, really. Basketcase is a thing. But there are times when you really just want to turn your shoulder, as you say. I'm a basket case too :) due to my past experiences which were shocking to say thenleast. If you have ever read David Pelzer's book A Child Called It, that pretty much sums up a big portion excluding some other trauma based events in my life. I may take a long time to reply, seein as 18 days has past since you commented but thanks for your patience. You're most welcome by the way. It's normal to feel infuriated and angry about the right tbings of wrong happening in the world.
