Sometimes the "ask" isn't even a conscious question formed into words by the mind.
Sometimes it's simply an internal prayer whispered in the depths of the heart.
Sometimes the "ask" is carried on the breath, like dandelion seeds silently partnered with the wind.
Most times when the heart asks and the mind forgets, the universe has space to bring us the gifts most aligned to our true heart's resonance.
In my heart I was asking to sing.
In my heart I was asking to listen.
To hear the songs emerging from nature.
Carried on the wings of seagulls and the froth of ocean spray.
At the time I didn't even know this was my prayer.
I was simply asking to know my purpose here on the planet, to feel the answer to the question: WHY AM I HERE??
What emerged from the seed of asking was a simple song.
A song of remembrance.
A song of returning.
A song that has answered my soul's "ask" over and over again in countless blessings.
A song that has brought community, peace, love, growth, deeper seeing.
A song that has shown me the world's magic.
A song that has washed me through and brought me home to myself.
So, with this invitation to share our "ask," I share with you this song, a song about returning to the arms of the Divine. A song about remembering we are always partnered in our life's dance, even as we venture into the unknown.

Into the sea I will go
Into the sea I will go
Into the sea I’m diving
Into the sky I will go
Into the sky I will go
Into the sky I’m flying
Into the stars I will go
Into the stars I will go
Into the stars I’m shining
Into your arms I will go
Into your arms I will go
Into your arms I’m going
[pictured above: Vic Wheeler, David Christian, Jacqueline May, Shiloh Travis, Cheryl Gallagher, and Jessica Falscroft. Not pictured: Cabe and Kate Lindsay]In this version, I have the honor to share the "stage" with some of my fellow bandmates and dear soul friends: @cabelindsay, Vic Wheeler, and Jacqueline May. Together we are four of the nine members of our band Cosmic Butterflies [and a Bear].
Together we bring our unique strings and colors to create a more vibrant fabric and story. I intend that by listening you can feel the love. I intend this song and its vibration remembers you home to yourself.
And I give a special thank you to my partner, lover, the man who walks (and sings) beside me through this life: @cabelindsay
With love and gratitude,
Kate (@wildfamily)
