So the person who strives in the way of Allah is the one who exalts His sentence as the way and the way to jannah (heaven). Therefore, behind the jihad fighting the soul and jihad with the sword, there is the jihad of the heart, the jihad against the devil and preventing the soul from the passions and lust that is forbidden. There is also a jihad with the hands and verbal form of amar ma'ruf nahi munkar. All of the above definitions are true. Therefore, Shaykh Abdurrazaq bin Abdul Muhsin Al Abaad states, the best definition of jihad is the definition of Ibn Taimiyah and he states, "It is understood from Ibn Taimiyah's statement above that jihad in the sense of syar'i is a term that includes the use and means to manifest the deed , the words and beliefs (i'tiqad) that Allah loves and honor, and reject the deeds, words and beliefs that Allah hates and is angry about. " The type of jihad Today, the media describing the word jihad is a Muslim jihad fighting non-Muslims. Though this is only one of the forms and types of jihad, because in fact the meaning of jihad is wider. Please note, Imam Ibn al-Qayyim has explained the type of jihad itself has four levels, namely: First, jihad combating lust; Second, jihad is fighting demons; Third, jihad is fighting infidels, and; Fourth, jihad is fighting hypocrites. Then he also explained that jihad fighting lust has four levels as well, namely: First, jihad is fighting stupidity to learn to gain happiness in the life of both world and the hereafter. On the contrary, the loss of knowledge of misery in the world and the hereafter; Second, jihad to practice after having knowledge. If not practiced, then merely having knowledge, he does not endanger it; Third, jihad preaches and teaches that knowledge to those who do not know it. Otherwise he includes those who hide his instructions and his knowledge is useless and does not save him from the adzab of Allah, and; Fourth, jihad fights him to be steadfast in the face of difficulties in preaching, disturbance of people, and keep patience for Allah SWT. Some scholars have explained that the devil's door to tempt every Muslim there are two namely lust and shubhat. Satan comes to man and sees that if a Muslim is weak in faith, and lacks his devotion to Allah, then Satan pulls him through the door of the lust. Conversely, if a Muslim istiqamah with his religion and strong faith, then he will pull it from the door syubhat (doubt) and plunge it into heresy. Jihad against this demon is law fardhu 'ain, because it deals directly with every human person. Responding to the media phenomenon of the term jihad, is a jihad against unfair information (hypocrisy) that can be done with heart, oral, treasure and soul as disabdakan Rasulullah saw in hadith Anas bin Malik ra. The meaning of jihad by word of mouth is to explain the truth and preach the righteousness in Islam, deny the error and the falsehoods preached by various types of media with da'wah through the media. And fight them, so there is no more slander and religion is for Allah alone. If they cease (from enmity against you), then there is no hostility (except) against those who are also jihad using the media for the purpose of the benefit described above is a recommended matter. Furthermore, some scholars also explained: First, Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah declared, the purpose of the aim of jihad is to exalt Allah's sentence and make religion entirely for Allah SWT.

Secondly, Shaykh Abdurrahman bin Nasir Al Sa'di states that jihad is of two types, namely jihad with the aim of good and improvement in aqidah, morals, adab (behavior) and all matters of the world and their hereafter and their education both scientific and amaliah. Thirdly, Shaykh Abdul Aziz bin Baaz states, jihad is divided into two, namely jihad ath thalab (attack) and jihad ad daf'u (survive). The purpose of both is to convey the religion of God and invite people to follow it, expelling people from darkness to the light of Islam, and exalting Allah's religion on earth and making this religion only for Allah alone. Purpose of jihad The above description has the purpose and objectives disyariatkannya that jihad is a form of communication in Islam (dakwah). Many Muslims understand jihad to be merely a jihad fighting infidels, this is a misconception. The best of jihad is jihad to obey Allah SWT by means of studying, and understanding Islam through the Qur'an and sunnah. Then preach (communication) through certain media to be submitted to other Muslims in various parts of the world. Science is to be practiced. After that, the Muslims are patient from all the disturbances and obstacles in the process of jihad. This is the jihad against the lust which is the greatest jihad and takes precedence over the others. In da'wah, the media should be used as channels of communication to inform, educate, influence, invite and call for the teachings of Islam by keeping the Qur'an and hadith. Patterns of da'wah integrated with information and communication technologies that continue to grow like the Internet, for example Youtube and Facebook, or other social media has been used by many preachers such as Ustad Abdul Somad as a medium for preaching. Be aware, information and communication technology is growing to preach. Today, media technology has transformed the world as if there is no space and time limit. With the presence of information technology through several types of social media, it is expected that Muslim intellectuals in Indonesia can combine conventional da'wah with da'wah based on information technology. Of course, if this is done, information technology and broadcasting communications (da'wah) of Islam will be more effective.
