5 Awesome Ideas to Pay it Forward on Steemit

 Even after all this time,
the sun never says to the earth, “You owe me!”
Look what happens with a love like that,
it lights up the whole sky. - Hafez

I'm writing this post as an inspiration to @whatamidoing article about changing our framing. I got inspired to write this article because recently I started de-cluttering to practice minimalism and my life has never been lighter and happier

How is this related to "paying it forward?" Simple. By giving something to someone; it could be your time, effort or cryptos. For some people, giving away or selling their material stuff can be very hard because of it's sentimental value. Changing your mindset or how you see things will help you to let go

Our brain's architecture was programmed to react to things that are acceptable to what our family or society taught us. We tend to buy branded things to get someone's approval or because we are so concerned of our social status. Those things are just things. It will rot and turn old in time. It's time to pay it forward and feel happier!

5 Awesome Ideas to Pay it Forward

1. Tip generously.

Here on Steemit, we write posts, up-vote, curate and give comments. If you think somebody made a great contribution to the community, consider donating to them. Especially if you already earned on this platform.

I wanna give a  shout-out to @business for all your support, kindness and generosity. It was something out of the blue present and it made me feel welcome on Steemit community. Thank you! :)

2. Become someone’s mentor.

Motivate someone. It's free and there will always be less experienced than you who could benefit from your knowledge. When you help someone out and make objective suggestions, you will feel accomplished.

Another shout-out to @teamsteem for teaching me and other Steemians on how to write a #introduceyourself post.

3. Listen to someone’s story.

Listening to other people's story helps them, especially when they don't have someone to comfort them. If you're all alone, far from the people who care about you because you work abroad, life can be lonely. Dedicate your time for that lonely person. You don't have to give solutions, just listen to them. Listen to their stories here on Steemit or chat with them. Having someone to talk to feels great. <3

4. Give a compliment.

If you see a post that you find interesting and is admirable, don't shy away in giving them compliments. It doesn't cost anything, takes a little of your time, and could make someone’s entire day. Don’t just think it. Write it down and be an angel.

I admire what @firepower did when he donated his Steemit earnings last month. I salute him for doing that so I left him a compliment. And I'm happy he replied. :)

5. Do pro bono work.

Not all of us are great artists. Some people are having a hard time making avatar or logo for themselves. Offer a pro bono work and you will reap the rewards ten fold. How? They will post your work online and give you exposure. The skills you have is a fantastic way to pay it forward.

Awesome tips. Your content is looking good, so don't get discouraged if you aren't getting too much exposure in the beginning. Keep things consistent, work hard with your content, and engage with as many people as possible. If you can do that, you are bound for success here.

Welcome by the way. Congrats on your first post! It did great. Talk soon. If you have any questions, I am here to give you a helping hand too :)

Great tips. One more that I would add that I plan on doing is talking about what inspired you about somebody else's post in your own post. It means the World to people.

Hey @justinf! Thanks for the idea! That would mean a world to people, you're right. To inspire and be inspired. :)

Enjoying your posts so far. Steem on :-) Off to do good deeds thanks for the inspiration. See you around
