Hi everyone,
This is the official announcement opening submissions for the Creators Christmas Origami Book for 2018.
This event has been running for free for over ten years on the origami forum https://snkhan.co.uk/forum/
To participate and receive your copy of the Christmas book please submit your new and unpublished folding instructions in your preferred format to origamichristmasbook AT gmail DOT com
These will be locked and only available to other designer's for four years after which they will become public.
Previous years books will be available by sending in an extra design for each year desired and detailing which year you would like access to. For access to the previous four years you would need to send in five original designs.
Submissions will close in two weeks time on the 15th of December with the book to be sent out on the 20th of December.
Those of you who have sent in extra designs will be given the relevant access to previous years books by the end of January.

howdy today gmatthe2! very interesting. You mean a person has to design an original origami and send it in? Well if that's what it takes I bet there are some fascinating designs! Very cool.
The range I've seen so far in both types and difficulty is brilliant. Most origami you see especially modular is only three or four folds away from being a completely new model. You should give it a go and surprise yourself. I can help you with making the end instructions.
