3. ENDOMETRIOSIS Endometriosis can lead to painful sex and it reportedly affects 7% of women. Endometriosis is a condition whereby the tissue that lines the uterus starts growing in other areas. It could result to painful period and sex.

4. THE WOMAN BEING TOO SMALL AND THE MAN BEING TOO BIG A woman having a petite vagina will experience discomfort during sex when she meets a man who is big down there. Using a lubricant can help in some cases. Taking it slow or using certain positions can also help.

5. INFECTION Infections like herpes and yeast can make sex painful for women and uncomfortable. This is why it’s important to get tested regularly. Ensure you see your doctor if sex is uncomfortable for you.
