I was rushed to the Hospital Monday morning because I could not stand upright and crawled to the floor to get to the door and chair. But I still forced myself to go to the office because of the project that I had to finish on that day before I was confined to the Hospital at 11:30 am.
My wife picked me up in my office to bring me to the nearest Hospital at the Gulf Diagnostic Center Hospital recommended by her friend.
At first, I was able to walk even though my back bent like a hunchback walking and trying to straighten my back. But my back was really hurt. The nurse asks my wife who is the Doctor we are looking for? And when we find out where the Doctor is, the assistant staff get the wheelchair so I can sit down because the Doctor's office is still far away.
When we arrived at his office, the Doctor who looked at me was funny. His words are so different that I can enjoy, and forget a bit of the pain I feel on my back. The Doctor said I needed to have X-rays to see if my spinal cord or kidney stone has a problem? But I said;
How can I get straight? My back hurts?!
The Doctor said I will have a painkiller, vitamin B12, and Sodium Chloride before taking X-rays.
This is one of those I do not like because it hurts! The needle! The more pain it puts on dextrose is the liquid medicine after putting the needle in my arm. But it seems strange? I feel cold in my nerves and not painful. It's good too because my body rests a bit. Do you know what I feel? I can sleep all day.
This hospital is also very different because I have noticed that it's funny on the wall with a message that says "Are you in pain? How much?"
This is their measure of Pain that reflects on the human face.
- No Pain
- Mild
- Moderate
- Severe
- Very Severe
- Worst Pain
And I'm in the Very Severe, let say number 7. You can't paint the reaction of my face how pain I feel! This is the best face that describes my pain. LOL, The Wong-Baker Face Rating Scale was developed by Donna Wong and Connie Baker.
My advice is before you make any games like basketball, volleyball, soccer etc. Make sure that all the muscles in your body have been stretched. You may feel like I'm now, so always warm up before playing.
And do not forget to drink plenty of water, especially the fresh water of the coconut which helps keep our kidneys clean.
In the next few days I will be back at the Hospital to check my condition and again they will inject liquid B12 and Sodium Chloride to my body for my muscle back pain.
Hopefully, my body will slowly improve. And thanks to my wife @arrliinn...
God has mercy...
