This painting honours the beauty and take off of this majestic gamebird that has been serving us for years. Some respected members are doing the marvellous job of rearing them for controlled hunting in the name of game management and are successful. In KPK this bird has suffered badly because of trapping in nets and overhunting so most of our beautiful habitats are devoid of these majesties.
Let us give them the respect they deserve and protect them too with controlled hunting.
Males are too vocal in breeding season and so are caught easily.
Discourage the practice of keeping trapped birds and let them flourish to grace our uplands with their beauty
