Hello les amis!, j'aimerais partager avec vous l'avancement d'un de mes derniers projets, il parait que cela aide a entretenir la dynamique 😃🤪😶🌫️
Il s'agit d'une peinture sur laquelle je me suis amusé et, même s'il me reste encore pas mal de retouches à accomplir, je commence à être satisfait du résultat.
Vous reconnaissez l'inspiration?
Comme vous le savez j'aime revisiter certaines oeuvres emblématiques de l'art européen en y apposant mon "afrotouch".
"Blackwashing" ?, un peu. "Wokism" ? J'étais dans la démarche bien avant que le monde de la cancel culture ne s'emballe donc j'aime à penser que non. Invitation à l'échange? Certainement !
Cette peinture s'inscrit en tous cas dans mon besoin de retrouver à la fois ma technique et mon inspiration, tout en continuant à explorer mes limites artistiques, voire à les repousser! Puis il faut bien vider cette tête!
Je suis impatient de partager cette oeuvre avec vous quand elle sera terminée. En attendant, toute approche constructive est bienvenue.

Hello friends!, I would like to share with you the progress of one of my latest projects, it seems that it helps to maintain the dynamic 😃🤪😶 🌫️
This is a painting on which I had fun and, even if I still have a lot of lifting to do on it, I am starting to be satisfied with the result.
Do you recognize the inspiration?
As you know, I like to revisit certain emblematic works of European art by applying my "afrotouch" to them.
"Blackwashing"?, a little. "Wokism"? I was in the process long before the world of cancel culture got carried away so I like to think not. Invitation to trade? Certainly !
This painting a part of my need to work both on my technique as well as on my inspiration, while continuing to explore my artistic limits, even to push them back! and more, I have to clear that head!
I look forward to sharing this artwork with you when it is complete. In the meantime, any constructive approach is welcome.
