"The Grass is Greener on the Other Side, Henny Penny"
...or at least it was before you escaped! My chickens are constantly escaping and digging up everything, especially recently planted things. This is my most recent painting, acrylic ink on watercolour painting. It recently sold, and as it is always nice to sell a painting, it is also a little sad in some way, too. A painting becomes a part of you.
Do you see those bright pink flowers? They were not in the original drawing. I was almost ready to begin painting when my cat, Lyra stepped in some random puddle of magenta printing ink that had leaked from a used ink cartridge that had not found it's way to the recycling. Before I could stop her she made two magenta foot prints right across my paper. If you look closely you can see two darker magenta spots in the center most two flowers.
A close up of the naughty chicken's face. She knows she has been caught on the wrong side of the fence!
One more for scale. I hope the new owners love the painting as much as I loved creating it!
Awesome.How to drawing it?

Very nice work! And I love the back story! My animals are forever making my art challenging in one way or another. :-)
