Sorolla Oil Painting Study 🎨

Today I painted 6 small and quick Sorolla studies on canvas board, keeping them less than an hour each for oil painting practice. It seems like I can’t go long without painting traditionally.

Joaquin Sorolla was a Spanish master painter of colour and light, with a focus on figure painting. He’s currently in my top 10 favourite artist list.

I recorded the process, so I’ll be making a time-lapse video of them on my Youtube over the next couple of days.
