Today I will tell you about the long-lost legend of the moon goddess Chang'e. The name of the moon goddess Chang'e is not new to everyone. This is because Mobile Legends, one of the most popular games in Myanmar, inspired this story and included Chang'e as a mage hero. Let's listen to the story.

Many years ago, ten suns shone on the earth. The world's greatest archer, Hou Yi, shot down nine suns with his arrow, leaving only one sun to illuminate the earth. Hou Yi was rewarded with immortality in heaven for shooting down nine suns. Hou Yi did not want to enjoy the gift of immortality alone, so he asked his beloved wife Chang'e to keep it. Hou Yi also wants to take the immortality pill with his wife, and he does not want to live alone without his wife forever. But one day, bad luck came between the couple because true love is always facing difficulties. One day while Hou Yi was hunting, Change 'was alone at home when Hou Yi's student Fengmeng broke into the house and forced Chang'e to ask for immortality. However, when Chang'e said he could not afford it, he forcibly took the immortal medicine, and Chang'e did not take the immortal medicine to the villain, so she drank it hermself. Immediately after taking the immortal medicine, Chang'e's body ascended to the heavens, and when she reached the heavens, she lived alone on the Moon. Due to her immortal powers, the Moon Goddess Chang'e is still on the Moon today, waiting in solitude for her husband, Hou Yi, to come. When Hou Yi returned from hunting, he suddenly heard about his wife. Hou Yi was very sad. The traditional Chinese bread, popular with the moon goddess Chang'e, was later called moon cake because of its connection to the moon, and the custom of worshiping Chang'e and eating moon cakes on the eighth full moon of the Chinese calendar began to emerge. Therefore, on the night of the traditional Chinese Lunar New Year, Chang'e's favorite moon cakes and fruits are displayed on the moonlight, and it is believed that the moon goddess Chang'e gives beauty gifts to all her devotees. Around the world, a rabbit was later added as a companion in the depictions of the god Chang'e, combined with the story of the hare on the golden moon.
