Since I am already going to trust the judgement of each team member with how much to reward each post I am willing to also trust in each team member's good faith belief that the content they are rewarding is in at least some way "geeky".
usually I say when in doubt go by the dictionary definition but most dictionaries don't really define geek as well as they could in my opinion. Doing a basic internet search of "geek culture" should give you the gist of what topics geeky covers.
