Investing for the future
So with LTC being stagnant the past week or so, a few days ago I decided it was time for me to take some of my LTC and start buying PAL. During the claim drop from PAL I got like 109 PAL, but I knew that it was going to be an important one to get more of and stake. The 50/50 curation is a great model for those holding PAL and a great incentive to invest into the token.
Now at the end of 2018, my Steemit account looked drastically different than it does now. I was approaching 7500 SP, but I think the value of Steem was sitting at around 25 cents. I made the hard decision to start powering down, but also at that time, LTC was around $30 and ETH was $80, so I put more of my Steem each week into those two. I also purchased ADA, EOS and some other alts that were down significantly lower than they are now. Over the next 6 months, the value of that 7500 Steem that I had put into those alt coins has grown to quite a decent amount while the value of Steem has not changed that much comparatively.
So now I have 4655 PAL, 1.7 PALMM (hoping that this was worth it), and 37.5 LEOMM on top of the 3800 LEO that I got in the drop yesterday. I am loving Steem Engine and the fact that we have one central market where we can go and put all of our earnings form the Steem blockchain and put them towards growing our accounts in the direction that we want it to go. As these new tribes keep popping up, the more possibilities come with it. This New Steem is looking amazing.

Nice acquisitions @derangedvisions. The future is definitely looking bright for the new steemit. It's like an interactive magazine rack, pick the topic you want to surf and there is a tokenized network. And this is just the beginning it appears.
