We are in the middle of the storm season here in Queensland, Australia so unfortunately it is often mentioned in the news that there are tens of thousands of homes without power. Fortunately, if you have an EV, you can simply use the battery to power your household appliances that you need to get past the power outage.
You'll need to use an extension cord though - hopefully that is quite easily accessible and you might already have some. I'm sure throwing an extension cord into a kitchen window to power the fridge is better than not having power, correct?
What surprised me was how long the power would last for. As my average power use is only 20kwh per day, a 60 kwh battery such as the one in Atto 3 could last you 3 days of normal power usage. Normally a power outage wouldn't be longer than a day so you're set!
很棒棒

Wow! That's a good idea. Hopefully many will learn from this.

Looks cool to watch 😎.
Personally, I think power supply should be decentralized, I mean each house house should be able to generate their required power without having to rely on external regulatory body.
no complaints on that!
Love to see you have a back up plan in place, as most people don't. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, 3 days of power is quite good, and it can increase based on your usage too. If you are using more power than might be it can decrease.

Absence or shortage of electricity can really affect our production at home or work, infact, online also, especially when our device's battery run low. Although, sometimes it can make us creative, you know 😁 Impressive invention 💥😉

you're right! maybe it's better to be without power for a bit :) but your fridge definitely needs power :)
That's a clever use of your car's battery power. Good stuff

cheers thank you
It's great to that there are options like that which can be really handy when power is much needed. And what's really awesome is that it can last a whole day of doing the normal things we do inside our homes.

This is a nice and helpful trick for sure but it's also important to stay home and safe during storm.

This is definitely something that had not crossed my mind, we actually have a generator at home - but not everybody has such an appliance.
Nice to visit your post :)
