The American dream is not dead, it’s alive in blockchain technology

The human brain has adapted for “memetic cognition”, which has paralleled the evolution of technology, and makes sense of the world through narrative, story, the speaker in the bicameral mind (whereas the listener is mediated through governance, external authority, and informs the speaker. )

When there are revolutions within the authority systems that people use, the brain while biased to the old authority, tends to not fully understand the new one.

The reformation from nation-states to “network-states”

The reformation of society that the internet began, an “age of connection”, is not about republicanism vs democracy, rather, both are being replaced with new “technologies of trust”, a natural event since a lot has changed in technology in the past centuries.

Within the noise that results from the web 2.0 co-existing with the nation-state, what many miss is that the American dream is not dead, instead, it has evolved and is alive in blockchain technology, building on top of the TCP/IP protocol (Vint Cerf, Bob Kahn, etc). Since state technology is capable of neutrality, a trait human beings cannot have, these “network-states” can support a free market for governance services (i.e. actual equality of opportunity).

So, America is evolving, and mating with every single other ideology that ever existed, as well as billions of computers and smart phones. The internet has the same affect as the printing press did, it is re-wiring society as a whole, as in, all of it.
