09/08/2018 - Tras el rechazo en el Senado a la legalización del aborto, el ministro de Salud Adolfo Rubinstein aseguró este jueves que siente "un poco de frustración", pero destacó que si la iniciativa "no salió ayer, va a salir en el futuro".
"Siento un poco de frustración, creo que tenemos que atender esta realidad", señaló el ministro en diálogo con La Red. "El aborto existe y tenemos que darle una salida a las mujeres que quieren interrumpir su embarazo y lo tienen que hacer en condiciones de clandestinidad", agregó.
En ese sentido, el ministro remarcó que los abortos clandestinos tienen "un enorme impacto, sobre todo, en las mujeres más pobres".
Por otro lado, se mostró optimista. "Se ha logrado avanzar", aseguró. "El haber podido sentar un debate a todo nivel en la sociedad en todos estos meses, hace que todos hoy conozcamos cuáles son las consecuencias y las implicancias del aborto en condiciones clandestinas, es un tema que era tabú y que hoy se habla y se discute", explicó.
"Los movimientos de ampliación de derechos son indetenibles. Si no salió ayer, va a salir en el futuro", indicó.
