I think I've just seen something that goes straight to the top of my bucket list!

Nice video. It looks as complicated a set-up as a hang-glider, just without the need for the frame to remain rigid. Of course, I guess you need your sail to not deflate and make sure your string attachments aren't tangled / likely to snap.

Looks to be in the same ballpark as hang-gliding, though. Don't jump off the wrong cliff / don't fly near pylons etc.

Have you done both? If so, which do you prefer (for fun alone / value-for-money/fun)?

I've not done hang-gliding, paragliding is much simpler a set up, easier to carry and weighs less too. You can literally be airborne within 5 mins of opening a paragliding rucksack, I guess HG takes far more prep time.

Cheers,
Rob.

May need one of these to play with myself.

:)

Ultimate fun :)

Looks fun. I have seen a small frame here, with wheels, kind of like a kart, that they land with. If I do this, I will be over water a lot, thought if I covered a frame like that, it would float. Just in case.... :)
