- In 1949, geologist Vadim Kolpakov made an expedition to Siberia, unaware that he was about to discover one of the strangest unsolved mysteries in the world: the Patomskiy pit. Kolpakov traveled to an unknown place, despite the warnings of the people of Yakut the Siberian to go to this place, where they explained to him that there is no place full of evil such a place and that even the animals avoid him. They call it the Fire Eagle's Nest, and when people get closer they feel drowsy and if they get closer they disappear without leaving any trace. But the geologist Kolpakov insisted on going and actually discovered a big crater the size of a large building surrounded by trees that seemed to grow rapidly As in the crater in which one of the world's largest meteorites fell. In 2005, a major scientific campaign went to study this area, but its leader died of a heart attack, prompting local residents to say that it was the curse of evil.
