Hi Mike! I actually enjoyed your post a lot! I'm working on my first tutorial, which I will post soon here on Steemit, and I'm very curious if Steemit will like it. As a newbie I guess I have to learn more about how to post successful content here :) And patience will help too I guess! :)

Content is only half the battle. Your content can be the best in the world, but if no one is seeing it, it won't get the votes. Keep doing what you are doing, get out of your own blog and go out and engage with people in their posts. That will help bring them to your blog to see what you have going on.
