Every child is curios about world around him. So, dear parents, please show your children this world. Do not wait for kindergarten or school teachers. Without spending lots of money, we can provide many attractions. Here are some examples.
I would like to present our small garden on the balcony. We have flowers, tomatoes, herbs, chives and wild strawberries.
Our balcony garden convinced Ewa to eat tomatoes. Previously, there was no way for she to eat them. Wild strawberries disappeared even before I noticed that they grown. In next year we plan to prepare even more flowerpots for strawberries.
As we prepared our small garden on the balcony, we had a lot of different guests like bees, bumblebees and birds. We can start thinking about some hard words, like "Pollination". ;)
We found in our game collection a very interesting game about vegetables and fruits. From few elements we can construct a lot of different fruits and vegetables. We try to divide them into categories and we tried to find a rules how to recognize vegetables and how to recognize fruits. After categorization we opened our fridge and we tried to find real vegetables and fruits which we saw in our game.
When the weather is beautiful, instead of sitting at home we are going to the nearby forest and there we are looking for cones and we are match them to the corresponding trees. We are looking for trees which names we know and try to find some new ones. We are looking for leaves of different shapes, and in autumn when they are colorful, we make beautiful bouquets.
It is important to prepare ourselves before we are going to the woods, we have to remember rules which everybody have to keep, something like: no fire, not to be loud, no leave garbage.
In the woods we also looking for some animals: squirrel, roe, boar, rabbit, a lot of different spiders, insects and beautiful birds.
As we already have a garden on the balcony and got to know some animals in the forest, it would also be useful to have some pet in the house, that you can look after, watch to be fed and clean their home. We start our adventure with fish named Wektor, shrimp and algae eater in aquarium and with snail in terrarium. We have to feed them twice a day and sometimes replace the water, or clean the glass in aquarium/terrarium. Or even replace grass for our snail (his name: Brus) home. Ewa really likes to participate in all these activities. She is learning what they eat, she observes how they eat, how they move and how they live. For example, snail Brus very likes cucumber and then carrot, parsley and he do not like apple. He sleeps at day and he come out when we simulate rain in his terrarium.
When we want to meet more animals we go to our friend. She has dogs, cats, chicken, goat and horses. Taking eggs from chicken-coop is a great fun. We also going to parrots house, zoo or a big aquarium. Ewa loves horse riding so from time to time we are going for rides.

You do not need to have a big knowledge about plants to have your own little garden. And you do not need to have a big knowledge about animals to show them to your children, just look around where can you go to find them. It is worth to show your children a beautiful world of plants and animals, teach them how to protect and respect this world and how to live with it in synergy.
In the end we would like to show you our funny had made creatures and turtle. We made them in some rainy day. We also going to collect some Autumn signs into our jar-owl.
