Since most of the Steem population skews towards a younger crowd, I am not entirely sure how many of you will have a use for it, but those of you that have (or intend to have) young children will need this information.
At some point, your children are going to end up getting lice (unless you have somehow managed to shelter them from any other contact with other children, in which case they will have a whole host of other problems).
So, here is something I have found, which works for my children.
Ingredients:
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Coconut oil
Procedure
First, wash everyone's hair with the vinegar. (Include everyone in the family, since lice easily spread). Leave it in for a couple of hours.
After washing the vinegar out, pour some coconut oil on everybody's head. (Depending on the temperature on the day, you might have to heat it up by rubbing it between your fingers to get it liquid). Leave it in there for as long as possible, before washing it off. Optionally, comb with a lice comb.
This should get rid of the lice and their eggs in a single application. Just to make sure to stay lice free, during this time, also wash all your bedding, since mites can survive in there.
i don't know, man. this seems more like a fetish than a treatment. ill try it though, thanks for the advice
or you can lite your hair on fire.
That would work too!
