Art for my kids. When their eyes say bliss

in #parenting7 years ago

i thought i was cursed. a creative soul in a useless body, unable to craft the imagery that batters my brain.
pouncing emotions of disappointment and failure.

but then, my daughters came in my life, bursting with joy, longing for love and revelling my attention.

and then, it came storming without
warning. i saw how my basic talent, this seemingly
simple piece of craft, captured the imagination and wonder
of those two young and beautiful minds i am so proud to call my children.

blisss. thank you, my loves

Thank you for your nice comment. I fully agree with you. So much info and complexity in this world.

Thanks again!

I'm not a child, but I found that photo inspiring. It seems like society as a whole is shifting on what"creativity" means and is currently leaning towards minimalistic designs and minimalistic behavior. We often become immune to clutter and fall into commercialism and believe more is better...but sometimes stepping back and realizing that it's the simple things that really matter in the long run helps put life into perspective. This photo was a reminder for me.

Thank you.
