Following the recent sad news - The death of George Flody who was murdered by a police in the US. It's very important parents start on time to educate their child on what racism is about. Racism is something to teach our kids right from the young age, this'll aid curb its menace in our society.

Recently, protesters took to the street in London held placards protesting against the killing of George Flody. It was really a sad incident.

Educating the kids about racism and its effect on the victims is very necessary but most times parents find it difficult on how to go about it. So I'm drafting the best way for parents to go about it. This is because a child today will definitely grow up to be an adult and our future depends on it.

You need to find out what kids understand about racial differences and know the best way to talk to them about it. For instance, at the age of 7 year below studies show that kids of such and less recognize differences in skin color and hair textures. So the best way to teach them is by getting a simple and comprehensive kids book about racism to read to them.

I'm recommending a book available on Amazon, "a kids book about Racism by Jelani Memory.
