Fatherhood Friday - September 15th

Fatherhood Fridays is back for another installment of great content posted by Dads in the last 7 days. It was much tougher this week to find new fatherhood content, it seems like the moms are out doing us! Lets spread the word and get the dads posts flowing!

Digging through tags to find new content is always fun and rewarding. Below is a list of posts that I felt needed to be shared with other SteemParents.

Breakthrough

Once again I am going to highlight the great content created by @breakthrough . His tag called #powerfulkids has created some great posts. His most recent blog in this series talks about helping your kids find and define their wins. The post is almost at its 7 days but I recommend checking out his feed as he has some current great posts on depression and marriage (separate topics not depression caused by marriage lol) that are worth an upvote.

Phelimint

He recently held a party to celebrate his daughters 2nd birthday. My son is now six but seeing images and excitement in his daughters face took me back to when Luke was only 2. There is a pure joy that you can't fake or reproduce when you are older.
Also the memories of getting all of the cousins together to run around and create chaos is one that I am sure many of us can relate to. @phelimint is also a member of teamcanada so I am familiar with his content.

Hoschitrooper

@hoschitrooper had a blog that I stumbled on today under the 'father' and 'family' tags. It is (as the title states) a list of 10 things that can make you feel annoyed as a father. Some items in the list relate to a stay at home dad. I do not want to give any of the topics away so your best bet is to head over to his blog and check them out for yourself!

@shaungerow is just one of the many steemparents that created a blog about his sons first day of school. I wanted to make sure that I represented this important day in my list this week! Wishing all the steemparents and their children a safe and successful year at school!

This is probably my favourite post that I am sharing this week. Being from Canada, I am a big hockey fan. I always love taking my kids to rink to both play and watch games. @mikepm74 missed out an taking his kid to meet James Neal when he played for the Predators but made sure that he didn't miss out on a new opportunity to meet another member of the squad this year.

Hey Darryl! Thanks so much for the mention!

I'll admit I struggled with whether or not to share very much about Aiden when I got on Steem. In fact, I even blogged about if it was a good idea or not. But ultimately, I can't blog without talking about him, he's the biggest part of my life.

I'll definitely be contributing more with this tag moving forward knowing there is a community of parents out there sharing stories together!
