Trust me, if you are a parent with a child/children in school under the age of 13 then you are likely pulling your hair out feeling like the scum of the earth because you couldn't possibly be parenting at your very best. For most of us between school, work, career chasing , and of course laundry we forget that we aren't actually able to control our off springs lives as they get older. Except if they have on clean underwear or weather or not desert was served before 9 p.m. Often I think to myself as I watch my children basically melt into the television for 30 minutes a night, will they binge watch when they are older? While I am attempting to sort through their cloths, for the 3rd time because they can fold it but they can not check the size of the tag to see it is in fact far to small, will they ever be able to dress themselves without looking homeless? Most of my idle time is spent thinking on what type of adult they will become and hoping they aim their aspirations high. I, like many other parents, will forever feel unaccomplished until our children are satisfied in their lives as adults. After all that is exactly why we teach them how to act in public and why its so important to wash their hands each time they go to the restroom. These miniature sponges who are able to learn another language faster than many adults still need those small gestures of faith and caring to bring them into the world of learning ethically and intuitively rather than by the book. Often the book is misspelled or out of date. But common sense is a priceless gift you can bestow upon our future for ions. All the molding we craft to insure they open their minds to every single possible accomplishment they will inevitably celebrate.
