If a large asteroid like this were to hit the earth, an ocean impact would be most likely (tsunami potential) but a land impact like Tunguska couldn’t be ruled out. Even so, statistically a thinly-populated area would be most likely.

Wasn't this coming towards us about a month ago or was that a different one? I haven't slept for a couple of days and usually I tend to "feel" these things. I was up until 3am last night. I finally got some respite but there seems to be a lot going on atmospherically.
Then there was the satellite fiasco. Thank you for posting about Parlay, I will definitely use it since I love to post things of this nature but didn't want it to be viewed as spam. Stay Alive and Steem On!

Last month there were two relative near misses:

At least with those, we had a little more warning. The one this weekend wasn’t noticed until very close to our orbit.

yes, i remember that .. i felt those too. LOL
we did have more warning and yikes ... there is probably so much we do not know.

Is there any requirement to join or everyone can join to submit On parlay platform ?

You can log in with your Steem account. :-)

the only requirement is to sign in with your steemit account and give your posting link, there is a how to in a link above, i just tried it myself and its fairly easy. they only have a couple of tags to use but you can edit your post after it hits steemit.

The Tunguska event was a large explosion that occurred near the Stony Tunguska River in Yeniseysk Governorate (now Krasnoyarsk Krai), Russia, on the morning of 30 June 1908 (NS).[1][2] The explosion over the sparsely populated Eastern Siberian Taiga flattened 2,000 square kilometres (770 square miles) of forest, yet caused no known human casualties. The explosion is generally attributed to the air burst of a meteoroid. It is classified as an impact event, even though no impact crater has been found; the object is thought to have disintegrated at an altitude of 5 to 10 kilometres (3 to 6 miles) rather than to have hit the surface of the earth.[3]
The Tunguska event is the largest impact event on earth in recorded history. Studies have yielded different estimates of the meteoroid's size, on the order of 60 to 190 metres (200 to 620 feet), depending on whether the body was a comet or a denser asteroid.[4]
