A little attack of some sort happened and took some bandwidth, is what I read somewhere. This whole article read like a hit peice. I thought Dan's team must have written it. lol

It was only 15 or minutes of total bandwidth issue and it was a guy who coded to block the system. it shut us all down temporarily but nothing like MSM to exaggerate. LOL

I wouldn't exactly say Cryptovest is part of the so-called mainstream media.

sadly, its now a term for reporting false information just to get attention.

everyone has an opinion, those that understand whats going on around us, get it.

The STEEM price rally comes just days after a technical fiasco, which threatened the very foundation of the social media. The Steemit platform saw its database crash, firstly revealing that what users see as immutable transactions are, in fact, centralized, off-chain database entries. Only later are those converted to digital assets.

Did I sleep through a technical fiasco or is this just FUD?

It happened during day-time here in Europe, so if you're in a different part of the world, you may very well have slept through it.

Every submission and comment from the last several days were temporarily gone. Not sure how long it lasted.
